Job Description

A large healthcare system is looking to hire an EMR Manager and an EMR Lead. This is a hybrid role: 3 days on-site and 2 days WFH. The ideal candidate will manage the day-to-day operations of our Athena IT Ambulatory team, which comprises 5 people. This team is supporting 40+ outpatient practices. The manager works alongside a Project Manager to respond to new requests/projects from the practices. They manage the Athena helpdesk account to ensure tickets are correctly assigned. They are running monthly and quarterly meetings, aiding in new practice acquisitions, staying on top of report requests, ensuring the quality of the EMR system, etc.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience managing a team of EMR Ambulatory professionals.

Experience responding to EMR new requests/projects

Experience running meetings and providing reports to executives

Associate's degree.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience with Athena

Experience with PACE EMR

Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Health Informatics, or Information Technology preferred.

RN license or Pharmacy license preferred.
