Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Field Service Technician to join their team. This person is responsible for traveling to customer sites to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair diesel-powered and electrical equipment, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently. This role requires hands-on experience with diesel engines, electrical systems, and high-voltage environments (480V–4160V), along with the ability to diagnose issues and perform repairs independently in the field. The technician will perform routine maintenance, respond to service calls, and communicate directly with customers to explain issues and solutions while delivering a high level of service. Candidates should be comfortable working in dynamic environments with frequent travel, and experience with compressors or HVAC systems is considered a strong plus

Required Skills & Experience
2–3 years of hands-on experience working with diesel engines and equipment
2–3 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including diagnostics and repair
Ability to safely work with high-voltage equipment (480V–4160V)
Experience troubleshooting, identifying issues, and performing field repairs independently
Comfortable traveling to customer sites and working in field environments
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience working with compressors
HVAC experience (installation, troubleshooting, or maintenance)
Familiarity with additional systems such as hydraulics or air systems
