Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Sr Manufacturing Manager responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing site operations, including staffing, procurement, maintenance, production planning, batch making, packaging, quality control, and shipping and receiving. This leader sets clear expectations for direct reports across departments to ensure alignment with overall company objectives while fostering a culture built on transparency, collaboration, trust, and respect. The position enforces all environmental, health, safety, and security programs to ensure compliance and effectiveness and maintains the highest product quality standards by driving the quality system across paint, colorant, and warehouse operations. The role ensures policies and procedures are consistently applied to optimize plant performance and achieve key metrics, maintains proper staffing levels through timely recruitment efforts, and leads a site team of approximately 5–7 direct reports and 50–75 indirect reports. Additionally, the position is accountable for cost control and continuous improvement efforts and works closely with the Director of Manufacturing to develop and execute both short- and long-term capital plans for the site.

Required Skills & Experience

· Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (Mechanical / Chemical or Industrial Engineering) with 8+ years of experience and strong technical background. Advanced degree is preferred.
· Consumer Packaged Goods industry experience is strongly preferred. Experience in a high speed, high volume manufacturing and packaging environment is required.
· Previous production or plant manager experience is essential.
· The ability to work in a matrixed organization is essential.
· Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels.
· Demonstrated ability to handle employee relation issues and facilitate conflict resolution. Establish strong working partnership with HR.
