Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Lead .NET Full Stack Engineer to support a major financial services client. This consultant will design, develop, and support web-based applications used by investment research and trading teams. You’ll work closely with product owners, business analysts, and investment stakeholders to deliver scalable .NET solutions, modernize legacy platforms, and ensure reliable production support for mission-critical systems. This role also provides technical leadership through code reviews, architecture guidance, and best practices across the team. This role is hybrid onsite in Newark, NJ.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of hands-on full-stack development with .NET (C#), ASP.NET/MVC
Strong experience building and supporting enterprise web applications and APIs
Advanced SQL Server skills (complex queries, performance tuning, data modeling)
Modern front-end experience with React or Angular
Experience leading technically: code reviews, standards, and mentoring engineers

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Background in asset management, trading systems (OMS/PMS) or financial services
Experience with Azure, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or cloud deployments
Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
Familiarity with Power BI, Power Platform, or analytics/reporting tools
