Prudential is looking to add an Infrastructure as Code Developer for their Database Team. This position will be 70% development and 30% administration. They do NOT need someone who can develop database application code. They need someone who can develop Infrastructure as Code that can offer self-service and automation capabilities so that the app dev teams can use self-service to deploy databases. You will develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard critical data and minimize downtime. A deep understanding of database concepts and experience with Relational Database Service (RDS) and Amazon Redshift is a must. This person is not being hired for a specific project. This team supports Prudential across the enterprise, and needs additional support for the workload that they currently have. This is a long-term opportunity with a growing team!
