Insight Global is hiring for a Construction Inspector to join one of our Engineering and Construction clients. We have an opening for a construction inspectors in Newark, NJ to support the installation of a centrifuge with one of their wastewater treatment clients.
The inspector is expected to be onsite from 7 AM - 3:30 PM with a general contractor who will be performing services to the facility. Day to day in this role, the primary responsibility of this person will be to observe and report on the services provided. This person will be documenting detailed field daily reports on the work performed, inspecting various aspects of the treatment facility including conduit routing, HVAC installation and related parts, and areas related to the centrifuge installation. Other responsibilities include reading detailed construction drawings/specs/submittals, ensuring compliance with health and building codes, tracking bid items, and thorough documentation via daily field reports with photo attachments on Microsoft Word.
