Job Description

Insight Global is seeking Business Systems Analyst to join a cross‑functional Fixed Income Data Enablement team, supporting a large-scale initiative to modernize data architecture. This role sits at the intersection of Fixed Income business strategy, data governance, and technology delivery, with a strong emphasis on data warehousing, data pipelines, and stakeholder enablement. The team is currently migrating from a legacy on‑prem SQL Server architecture toward a future cloud-based data platform, while simultaneously enhancing credit applications, data positioning, and enterprise data quality across both public and private Fixed Income. This is a highly visible role working closely with front-office portfolio teams, quants, credit analysts, and technical delivery teams, requiring strong domain expertise, critical thinking, and the ability to drive work forward in a fast-paced Agile environment. In order to be successful, they will communicate and present excellently, create business process flows, facilitate discussions across diverse stakeholders, support data focused initiatives, read and interpret existing data pipelines and code, partner with technical data teams, and successfully gather and share functional and technical requirements. This role will be onsite 3x/week in Newark, NJ.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5–10 years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role within asset management or financial services.
- Strong Fixed Income domain foundation, with exposure across a wide range of instruments (e.g., Treasuries, corporate credit, structured products, repos, etc.).
- Experience supporting or partnering with front-office Fixed Income teams, including Portfolio Managers, Credit Analysts, and Quants.
- Hands-on SQL expertise with the ability to confidently navigate databases and understand application data flows.
- Working knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data pipelines, and data governance frameworks.
- Ability to read and interpret technical logic and code, even if not writing production code.
- Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional delivery teams.
- Strong ability to prioritize multiple initiatives simultaneously, think critically, and adapt quickly.
- Proven self-starter mentality with a willingness to roll up sleeves and keep momentum moving.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Exposure to Fixed Income trading or investment systems (e.g., Aladdin).
- Experience working on data architecture modernization or cloud migration initiatives.
- Prior experience defining data quality rules and partnering with data engineering teams for implementation.
- Experience working with vendors and system integrators.
Prior PGIM / Prudential environment experience.
