Job Description

• 5–8+ years of backend development experience
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and/or Java (Spring Boot)
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Exposure to cloud-based development in AWS (deployments, monitoring, logging)
• Ability to work across multiple technologies and systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills and willingness to collaborate across teams

Required Skills & Experience

• Design, develop, and enhance backend services supporting annuities new business processing workflows
• Contribute to the automation of business processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across contract and policy issuance
• Build and maintain APIs leveraging Node.js, Java, and Spring Boot
• Work across multiple applications and services, with flexibility to support both Node.js and Java-based systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features and enhancements
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to long-term platform evolution
• Monitor and support deployments within AWS environments, including troubleshooting and log analysis
• Ensure high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code
