Job Description

Our top financial services company is looking for an AWS Developer to help navigate the company through a modernization of their technologies. This person will employ industry best practices to deliver world-class solutions and ensure developed solutions remain compliant with all applicable company standards. He/she will plan, design, architect, build, and test solutions based on microservice design principles to maintain scalable applications. They will drive software development activities to meet schedules and timelines and thrive to ensure code quality is high with supporting unit tests and automation, and timely delivery. The frameworks/blueprint are already built out, so this person will be responsible for working within the AWS Cloud and enhancing technologies.

Required Skills & Experience

Familiarity with AWS services, especially EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and DocumentDB
2-3 years of working experience with AWS
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
Must be able to work in a high-paced environment
Ideally looking for a candidate who can bring an outside perspective on the team's AWS Platform.
