Job Description

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Dashboard Developer who combines strong technical expertise with exceptional business collaboration skills. This role is not just about building dashboards—it’s about partnering with HR and Talent Acquisition teams to drive strategic insights, influence decision-making, and deliver solutions that align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate thrives in a remote, cross-functional environment, communicates effectively with stakeholders, and can translate business needs into actionable BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Discovery & Collaboration
• Act as a business partner, engaging with HR leadership and stakeholders to understand objectives and translate them into technical requirements.
• Facilitate discussions and drive alignment in a remote setup, ensuring clarity and consensus on dashboard priorities.
• Collaborate with HR and data teams to ensure dashboards reflect organizational strategy and deliver actionable insights.
Dashboard Development
• Conceptualize and design dashboards that tell a clear business story, based on stakeholder needs and wireframes.
• Build and roll out dashboards end-to-end, ensuring usability, scalability, and executive-level presentation (e.g., multi-screen views for leadership reporting).
Data Modeling & Backend
• Model data for BI purposes to support dashboard functionality and accuracy.
• Define backend requirements and ensure data integrity for reporting.
• Utilize SQL for data extraction and transformation.
Tools & Technologies
• Develop dashboards using Tableau and Power BI.
• Leverage Dataiku for advanced data preparation and analytics.
Testing & Quality Assurance
• Create and execute test scripts to validate dashboard functionality.
• Ensure dashboards are accurate, up-to-date, and meet stakeholder requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

Location: Remote – preferably in Pune, Mumbai, or Bangalore, India

Shift – 2nd shift IST (India shift)– 12pm-9pm

• Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and deliver end-to-end BI solutions.
• Ability to manage the dashboard development lifecycle from wireframe to rollout, including testing and validation.
• Strong understanding of Human Resources (HR) data structures and terminology, or Workday HRIS systems.
• Experience building executive dashboards for HR or Talent Acquisition, including multi-screen views for leadership reporting.
• 4+ years of experience in business intelligence development or dashboard design.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau and/or Power BI, including dashboard creation and deployment.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
• Experience in data modeling for BI purposes.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with Dataiku for advanced data preparation and analytics.
• Familiarity with building and monitoring data quality dashboards.
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools (e.g., CoPilot) to enhance productivity, automate reporting, and support data analysis.
