Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Business Analyst to support a high-priority initiative focused on AI/ML, automation, and data enablement within pharmaceutical discovery research. This role will specifically support efforts around promiscuity data analysis, helping the organization better understand compound interactions, off-target effects, and data-driven decision making in early-stage research.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory and assess data across fragmented and siloed systems related to discovery research and compound data
Identify where promiscuity (off-target interaction) data resides and define requirements for aggregating and structuring it
Partner closely with scientists, data teams, and IT stakeholders to gather and document business and technical requirements
Translate business needs into IT scope, including data sourcing, integration, and transformation requirements
Support data integration and preparation efforts for AI/ML models focused on compound behavior and interaction analysis
Help standardize and organize datasets to improve accessibility, quality, and downstream analytics

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years Business Analyst experience
Pharma industry experience, pharmaceutical R&D, discovery research, or scientific datasets
Background working in data integration or multi-source data environments
Work cross-functionally with scientists, data engineers, and technical teams
Strong experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication
Drug discovery concepts such as compound screening, assay data, or off-target analysis
Experience working in AI/ML-enabled environments or supporting model-ready datasets
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) / product environments
Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
