Insight Global is seeking an Interior Space Planner for a client in West Palm Beach, Fl. Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
Create concept plans and integrate multiple floor plans into coordinated master documents.
Conduct site evaluations to measure and document existing physical conditions.
Maintain digital and physical files, ensuring proper version control, archiving, and record organization.
Interpret and apply relevant building codes and standards such as ADA, IBC, and other jurisdictional guidelines.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to support project coordination.
Prepare documentation for construction, renovation, and facility upgrade projects.
Produce and organize PDF and DWG files for review, submittals, and internal records.

Required Skills & Experience
Education: Associate's degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering Technology, or a related field. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
Experience: At least 2-3 years of professional experience in AutoCAD drafting, with a focus on construction, renovations, or architectural projects. Demonstrated experience in concept plan development and integrating multiple floor plans into cohesive master documents.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD (latest versions preferred), including 2D modeling, layering, and annotation tools. Familiarity with building codes, standards (e.g., ADA, IBC), and construction documentation practices. Experience with file management systems for both digital (e.g., PDF, DWG formats) and physical records, including version control and archiving. Experienced with site evaluations to measure and document existing physical conditions.
Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers.
Other Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for record management). Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs for handling physical records. Valid driver's license may be required for site visits.
