Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to lead our Specialty Pharmacy Services division. This newly created division will focus on business development within the specialty pharmacy sector, particularly Specialty pharmacy services. The Sales Director will be responsible for building and managing relationships with hospital pharmacies across the country, handling everything from intake through billing and collections, and supporting the pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute business strategies to expand specialty pharmacy services.
Partner with hospital pharmacies nationwide, currently collaborating with 25 different hospital pharmacies.
Manage the entire process from intake through billing and collections, ensuring seamless operations.
Build out the specialty pharmacy services team, as this is a newly created position.
Collaborate closely with SVPs who have been managing these responsibilities to date.
Strategic & Operational Initiatives
Formulate and execute MBOs (Management by Objectives) as directed by Sales Leadership.
Attend sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and in-services.
Provide feedback on competitive activities and contribute to developing sales strategies.
Assist the Business Development team
Reporting & Territory Management
Complete timely sales and expense reports
Conduct a minimum of 10-12 quality sales calls weekly with key decision-makers.
Utilize CRM (SalesForce) tools for organized account profiling and management.
Efficiently plan and control regional budgets.
Participate and perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Travel:
50-60% of the time travel will be required to various hospitals across the country.

4-6 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, specialty pharmacy, or healthcare sales.
Ability to travel nationwide at 50% or greater
Extensive experience in specialty pharmacy services.
Established contacts with C-suite members of health networks and hospitals.
Clinical services experience is preferred if specialty pharmacy experience is not available.
Proven track record in business development and sales within the healthcare sector.
Experience with long sales cycles (6+ months)
