We are seeking a mid-level Azure Cloud Engineer with hands-on experience in Azure managed services to support our growing cloud infrastructure. This role requires strong scripting and automation skills, and the ability to work closely with development teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to and resolve Jira tickets related to infrastructure requests (e.g., access to storage, connectivity setup)
Provision and maintain Linux/Windows servers based on developer specifications
Collaborate with development teams to gather infrastructure requirements and implement solutions
Automate infrastructure tasks using PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
Manage and optimize Azure SQL databases; occasional work with MySQL and PostgreSQL
Support hybrid cloud connectivity between Azure and AWS environments
Maintain and improve Git-based CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred)
Ensure compliance with internal security and regulatory standards (HIPAA training provided)

3-5 years of hands-on engineering experience with Azure cloud services
Experience with Azure managed services (e.g., Azure Databricks, Azure SQL databases, Azure VMs, etc.)
Strong scripting skills in PowerShell (from scratch)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred; Bicep/ARM a plus)
Familiarity with Git-based CI/CD workflows (GitLab, GitHub, etc.)
Experience managing databases in Azure (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Experience working with Jira or similar for ticketing and task tracking
Ability to interpret infrastructure requirements from development teams and build accordingly
Comfortable with Linux/Windows server provisioning and maintenance
