Overview:
Insight Global is searching for a Business Development Manager to support one of our largest maritime equipment supporters in the US. In this role, you will be expected to strategically advance the business performance, cultivate growth, and expand the market presence of the Deep-Sea Services and Projects Divisions respectively. In this crucial role, you’ll lead efforts to position the end client as the preferred choice among valued customers and esteemed business partners, including OEMs and integrators. With a proactive mindset and a talent for seizing opportunities, you’ll play a central role in shaping our company’s path forward. Your work will have an international scope, primarily focusing on The East Coast, largely from New York down to Baltimore.
Day to Day:
- Stay updated on market developments and respond proactively.
- Recruit and develop talent to achieve ambitious growth targets.
- Negotiate contracts, explore partnerships, and drive sales growth.
- Lead sales teams for direct and indirect customer segments.
- Develop geographic expansion and sales strategies.
- Engage with clients at all levels to influence purchasing decisions.
- Optimize processes, efficiency, and customer experience.
- Act as ambassador, maintain relationships, and drive revenue growth.
- Generate leads, ensure timely follow-up, and register opportunities.

Required Skills & Experience
- Technical / Associate’s degree in electrical, electronics, communications engineering OR Navy experience
- 1+ years of experience / familiarity with NAVCOM Systems such as:
o Navigation, communication equipment, Maritime Systems, Maritime Radar,
- 1+ year of experience in developing business and sales strategies
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Naval Experience / Coast Guard
- Previous management experience
