Job Description
An employer is looking for a Business Analyst for a logistics customer in Philadelphia area. The customer is searching for a strong BA to join their Warehouse Management Systems group to serve as a liaison between the business community and the IT teams in order to provide solutions to meet user requests. They will be responsible for gathering in-depth technical requirements and translating those requests to the application teams who is implementing a new internal application into the client's environment. This candidate will manage the full life-cycle of the request from start to finish, including retrieving the request via the change portal, reaching out to the business to fully understand/qualify the request, bring it back to the IT teams, get the funding approved, work with the dev teams and testing teams, then ultimately ensuring the request is successfully executed. Depending on the scope of the request, he or she must be able to balance multiple requests/projects at a time. The ideal person will be someone with strong communication skills and have the ability to speak with confidence. They are looking for a BA with a background in IT, specifically working on application implementation projects.

Required Skills & Experience
4+ years in a Technical Business Analyst role (application implementation projects)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with high level leadership as well as technical development teams
Previous experience working in a large enterprise level environment
Experience writing technical and functional requirements and creating user stories
Previous experience working in a Agile Environment
Previous Experience working with WMS Applications (BY discrete preferred)
