Job Description

Our client is seeking a Regulated Voice Recording Architect to lead the design, modernization, and strategic direction of enterprise regulated communications recording platforms. This individual will be responsible for translating business, compliance, and technology requirements into scalable technical solutions across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-based voice recording environments.

This role will focus heavily on architecture, solution design, platform transformation, technical roadmaps, cloud migration, data migration, vendor integration, and strategic technology planning. The architect will work across internal technology teams, business stakeholders, compliance partners, security groups, and external vendors to ensure regulated voice recording platforms are highly available, secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards.

While this is primarily an architecture and technical leadership role, the position will also retain governance responsibilities related to standards, documentation, compliance alignment, risk management, audit support, and operational oversight for regulated voice recording environments.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Solution Design

- Interpret business, regulatory, and technical requirements into scalable voice recording and collaboration communications solutions.
- Design and support architecture frameworks for NICE NTR-X, NICE Engage, surveillance platforms, mobile recording, compliance assurance, and related regulated communications technologies.
- Develop technical roadmaps aligned to business objectives, regulatory requirements, enterprise architecture standards, resource availability, and financial constraints.
- Provide architecture recommendations for cloud migration, platform modernization, data migration, infrastructure resiliency, and application delivery.
- Design highly available, fault-tolerant, secure, and scalable regulated voice recording solutions.
- Provide architectural guidance across cloud, mobile, web, APIs, microservices, automation, CI/CD, AI/ML, and emerging technology initiatives where applicable to regulated communications platforms.
- Support architecture decisions across AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and other enterprise cloud environments as needed.

Governance, Compliance & Standards
- Maintain governance oversight for regulated voice recording architecture standards, technical documentation, and platform design decisions.
- Ensure solutions align with regulatory, retention, legal hold, surveillance, compliance, and records management requirements.
- Support audit, risk, and compliance reviews by providing technical documentation, evidence, architecture diagrams, and platform details.
- Define and maintain standards for platform design, integration, availability, security, resilience, and operational support.
- Partner with compliance, legal, records management, and security teams to ensure recording solutions meet regulated communications requirements.
- Review architecture decisions for compliance impact, operational risk, data protection, retention, and governance alignment.
- Support change governance processes by reviewing technical designs, implementation plans, risk assessments, and operational readiness materials.

Vendor, Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Work across multiple vendors and internal partners to design and deliver technically excellent regulated recording solutions.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, compliance teams, architecture groups, infrastructure teams, operations teams, and external vendors.
- Provide advice and recommendations specific to business and customer requirements.
- Partner with managed service providers and vendor resources to ensure technical delivery aligns with architecture standards and business expectations.
