Job Description
· Directly manage team of 6 who conduct a range of professional services sourcing engagements of varying spend, risk, and complexity levels, managing engagements in one or more of the following categories: management consulting, tax and audit, legal services, and HR
· Partner with global Chain IQ colleagues to ensure cross-functional coordination of engagements, supplier management, process implementation, and best practices.
· Provide detailed project status (and associated savings) reporting on all active and completed sourcing deals, using required Chain IQ and client tools/platforms
· Communicate regularly with key business stakeholders to understand strategic direction, business requirements, objectives, and priorities across assigned categories;
· Oversee and manage business requirements of each deal, and shape deals and contracts to meet those requirements;
· Assess savings opportunities on all engagements, and work with clients to achieve optimal cost
reductions/savings as appropriate;
· Develop and maintain key supplier relationships in the above named categories and stay current on their products, services, and competitors;
· Manage competitive bids and RFXs for sourcing engagements using automated tools, and lead the evaluation and selection process across a cross-functional team of stakeholders;
· Draft contracts based on clients’ standard templates, and customize deal-specific commercial terms/conditions as needed;

Required Skills & Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Minimum 6+ yrs. experience across various professional services categories
· Client/stakeholder focus within the corporate environment with the gravitas to influence senior stakeholders
· Experience in a team lead role
· Experience in relationship management, deal structuring, vendor management, and procurement.
· Advanced skills with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel and database analytic tools and sourcing systems
· Proven capability running multi-million-dollar sourcing projects
· Experience with contracts and ability in contract drafting, with limited legal support
· Excellent negotiation skills - written and oral
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results with deadlines
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
· Supply Chain concentration in degree or MBA
