Insight Global is seeking a Governance Analyst to join the Enterprise Architecture Governance and Controls team at one of our top financial services clients. This person can sit out of the Jersey City, Pennington, or Charlotte offices 3 days/week onsite. This person will be responsible to:
-Own and execute governance routines, operational processes, and BAU deliverables.
-Drive automation and AI-enabled improvements to reduce manual effort and increase consistency.
-Build, maintain, and enhance reporting, dashboards, and governance artifacts.
-Manage inputs, approvals, and outputs across multiple stakeholders.
-Translate data into clear insights, themes, and executive-ready materials.
-Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation; execute changes directly.
-Act as a hands-on execution lead—moving work forward, not just coordinating.

Required Skills & Experience
-5+ years of experience as a Governance Analyst
-Hands-on experience standing up and owning governance and operational processes end-to-end (not policy-only)
-Proven ability to implement automation and AI-enabled process improvements (hands-on execution, non-developer)
-Advanced Excel and reporting skills, including building or maintaining automated dashboards or trackers
-Strong understanding of governance workflows, approvals, and operational execution in complex environments
Ability to own BAU and operational work while driving continuous improvement
-Strong executive communication skills; able to translate data into clear insights and actions
-Financial services industry background
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Experience using Copilot or AI tools to automate recurring reporting or governance activities
-Development background
