Job Description

Our top retail client is looking for a marketing analyst to support their media insights team. This individual would be responsible for integrating advanced analytics using Python and SQL to build predictive models and uncover consumer behavior trends for their beverage portfolio. They would leverage GCP to manage scalable data pipelines and host analytical workflows. They will be responsible for developing Tableau dashboards to help automate reporting and visualize key insights. Their day to day involves evaluating marketing impact, comparing campaigns, and understanding purchase drivers via impressions and cross-channel behavior to optimize future campaigns. The candidate needs to have strong communication skills to translate business questions into analytical approaches and communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, acting as a bridge between data science and business teams.

Required Skills & Experience

23 years of relevant analytical experience, in media, marketing analytics, or consumer insights (agency, brand, publisher, or research side)
Understanding of media reporting types and campaign performance metrics
Strong Python skills for data manipulation, modeling, and exploratory analysis
Proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets and optimizing data workflows
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or equivalent cloud environments
Expertise in dashboarding tools like Tableau or Power BI
Advanced Excel skills
Strong communication and presentation skills to bridge technical insights with non-technical stakeholders
Ability to identify insights, deep dive into data, and translate findings into actionable recommendations

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with retail media platforms (e.g., Lowes, Best Buy, Amazon, Petco, Meta)
Familiarity with marketing science and analytics methodologies
Exposure to social media marketing with a technical lens
