Job Description
The Senior Solutions Consultant supports delivery of VMware Cloud Foundation–based engagements under the direction of a Senior Architect. This role is hands-on and execution-focused, responsible for implementing, configuring, upgrading, and integrating modern data center and private cloud solutions. Consultants work as part of a pod model, supporting multiple client engagements concurrently to deliver consistent outcomes. The role requires deep, real-world VMware Cloud Foundation experience. This position is 100% delivery aligned. This is a remote role which requires the flexibility to work in multiple US time zones and the ability to travel up to 20% for client facing activity.

Required Skills & Experience
-5+ years of hands-on experience delivering enterprise VMware infrastructure solutions
-Proven VMware Cloud Foundation experience in production environments
(Version 5 required; Version 9 exposure strongly preferred)
-Experience delivering solutions in brownfield and/or greenfield environments
-Strong experience across core VCF components including compute, storage, and networking
-Experience with VCF Automation (Aria Automation) and/or VCF Operations
-Enterprise VMware experience including vSAN and NSX
-Ability to execute deployments, upgrades, and migrations while supporting multiple concurrent engagements
-Practical scripting experience to support infrastructure automation and operations
(PowerShell / PowerCLI preferred; ability to read and modify existing scripts required)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation Version 9
-VMware Kubernetes Services (VKS) or strong Kubernetes platform experience
-Specialization in NSX, AVI, or vDefend (network and security focus)
-Automation-focused background (self-service catalogs, workflows, IaC)
-VMware or related certifications (VCP, VCAP, NVIDIA AI)
-Experience working in a consulting or services delivery model
