Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Product Manager to support a digital product team for a 6 month engagement. This individual will play a key role in the launch and post-release support of a major mobile application initiative scheduled for launch in December. The ideal candidate has experience working within mobile app ecosystems, understands the product development lifecycle from requirements through release, and can effectively partner with cross-functional teams to drive testing, validation, backlog management, and ongoing feature enhancements. Responsibilities include:
• Support the delivery and launch of a high-profile mobile application initiative, including post-launch enhancements and backlog prioritization.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, QA, Design, Analytics, and Editorial teams to ensure successful feature delivery.
• Translate business needs into detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, working directly with leadership and development teams to align on priorities.
• Review product requirements documents and validate builds against documented functionality and user expectations.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, feature validation, regression testing, and quality assurance efforts throughout the development lifecycle.
• Identify, document, triage, and prioritize bugs and defects, ensuring timely resolution and communication across stakeholders.
• Analyze user feedback, testing results, and product performance data to recommend enhancements and improve the user experience.
• Support release planning, launch readiness activities, and fast-follow feature deployments following the initial product launch.
• Ensure a high-quality end-user experience across both iOS and Android platforms through rigorous testing and validation.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5-7+ years of experience in Product Management within an enterprise level environment
• Experience supporting digital products within financial services, investor tools, market data, news, media, or content-driven platform (EX: Bloomberg, yahoo finance)
o watchlist, investor monitoring page, stock screener, watchlist, portfolio,
• Strong understanding of mobile application ecosystems, including iOS and Android development and release processes.
• Experience reviewing product requirements documents, validating functionality against requirements, and identifying gaps or risks.
• Ability to break down complex problems, define requirements, prioritize work, and drive execution across teams.
• Familiarity with website and mobile development concepts, including user journeys, responsive design, testing, and release cycles.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
• Comfortable leveraging analytics, user feedback, and performance metrics to inform product decisions.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience managing App Store and Google Play releases.
• Experience supporting AI-powered features or generative AI product enhancements.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar product management tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience supporting web, mobile, CTV, or video-first digital products.
