Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Surgical PB Coding Educator for our healthcare client here in New Jersey. This role will sit 100% remotely and will help educate and audit outpatient clinicians within the system. This person must be strong in surgical medical coding as an educator and be comfortable teaching/auditing doctors and physicians. The role will also include education internal coders on the PB coding team as well. The role will need to present around 3-4 times/year at a virtual but public setting around different ICD and CPT updates.

Required Skills & Experience

* 2+ years as a coding educator

* Surgical PB coding experience

* Experience educating and auditing Physicians and Doctors/medical billing staff too

* Strong presentation and public speaking ability for classes up to 50 people

* Strong understanding of ICD-10 and CPT methodology and standardizations

* Active CCS, CPC, RHIT, or RHIA Certification

* GED or higher education

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* CPMA certification
