Job Description

Insight Global is hiring for an Associate Accountant to join one of our energy investment clients. This is a full-time opportunity on a hybrid basis out of their East Brunswick, NJ office.



The Junior Accountant will primarily be responsible for accounts payable processes, reviewing invoices, reviewing recent cash activity, supporting the closing of books and allocation of expenses, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate documentation and reporting. This may include holding companies, joint venture entities, and/or related subsidiaries. Additionally, they may assist with preparing and maintaining journal entries, compiling and reviewing quarterly account statements, and generating investor capital account statements.



This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting

- 0-2 years of accounting experience

- Previous experience processing wires and checks

- Proficient in Excel with V-lookups and pivot tables

- Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Private Equity and/or Public Accounting experience

- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics and/or Investran
