Job Description

The Senior Quality Control Technician will support Insight Global's largest federal client's manufacturing operations by performing in‑process and final quality inspections, audits, and quality data reviews to ensure products meet all contractual, regulatory, and internal requirements. This role partners closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to implement and maintain Quality Control requirements in alignment with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality systems. The technician is responsible for identifying, documenting, reviewing, and dispositioning non‑conforming material originating from manufacturing, as well as reviewing test procedures, detailed work instructions, engineering documentation, and technical drawings for compliance and accuracy. The position also coordinates inspections, document reviews, and non‑conformance resolution with Quality, Manufacturing leadership, and Engineering stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

-Proficient in reading specifications and Engineering documentation.
- Secret Clearance
-Must have certification in IPC workmanship standards such as ANSI-J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, WHMA-A-620 and Space addendums.
-Experience in manufacturing, preferably Aerospace and Defense
-Experience with GDR, DS Modules, L3 Communications Kites, and L3 Communications K2s.
-Experience with Depot inspections
-Advanced experience reading and understanding drawings
-Advanced SAP competencies with inspection module.
