Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Manager of Program Finance to join the C5 Finance division at L3Harris. This leadership role is responsible for driving financial strategy and performance across a business area, partnering closely with the Business Area General Manager to provide guidance on forecasting, P&L ownership, managing a team of 10+ analysts and leads, and strategic planning. The Senior Manager will lead a team of program finance professionals, focusing on talent development, employee engagement, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and will be operating as a lower-level CFO. Key responsibilities include overseeing compliance with ANSI/EIA-748 EVMS standards, developing and presenting financial metrics for executive reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Program Management, Operations, and Engineering. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential to inspire teams and influence stakeholders. This role requires a proven ability to recruit and develop top talent, drive process improvements, and deliver accurate, timely financial analysis to support business objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, or related analytical field and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
Experience leading and developing a team of financial professionals.
Demonstrated strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated expertise in Earned Value Management ANSI/EIA-748 standards and processes.
Experience with risk management, financial management
Recent DoD/Federal Industry experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience using SAP
Knowledge of ASC606 Revenue Recognition
Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
