Job Description
A large energy company in Camden, NJ is looking to hire a Senior Help Desk Administrator to join their IT team. For the first 6–9 months, the selected candidate will focus on learning the organization’s systems, processes, and procedures before transitioning into broader responsibilities that include systems administration tasks. The role involves providing desktop and remote support, resolving tickets through ManageEngine or similar tools, supporting Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365 environments, and administering Active Directory and O365. As the role evolves, responsibilities will expand to supporting Windows Server environments, VMware virtualization, enterprise storage and backup solutions, core network services, and ensuring proper documentation, security, and compliance with IT standards. Please note the current environment is made up of 60% virtual servers and 40% physical servers.

Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of IT experience - 3+ recent years providing Windows systems support
Strong understanding of Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2012–2022) and Office 365 administration
Experience configuring/troubleshooting and maintaining windows servers
Experience supporting virtual environments (VMware) and enterprise storage systems (EMC, Isilon).
Familiarity with backup and recovery platforms, including NetBackup.
