Insight Global is looking for an experienced Oracle database administrator for a leading large financial services company to help migrate and support multiple very large Oracle databases from on-premises to Azure Cloud. In this role, you will also be responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance all Oracle databases running on Linux platform. Your expertise will ensure the optimal performance, availability, integrity, and security of our critical data infrastructure. You will be required to work closely internal groups, external clients, and application developers. The estimated pay rate for this role is 75-90/hr depending on years of experience.

5+ years Oracle Database Administration experience with administering and supporting multiple Oracle databases on Windows/UNIX/Linux platform
Strong familiarity with implementation of Oracle in the AZURE cloud and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Experience with Oracle tools/products: DataGuard, ASM, RAC, AWR, GoldenGate, and OEM
Experience in managing and tuning OLTP / DW databases
Experience in SQL / PLSQL development and tuning
3 years of experience with conducting performance tuning, backup/recovery, and scalability/capacity planning, in addition to SQL, PL/SQL, and UNIX shell scripting
2 - 3 year experience in AZURE RDS is highly preferred
Familiarity with FISMA HIGH, FedRAMP HIGH, and/or Zero Trust Architecture is strongly preferred.
