Job Description

A telecom regulatory real estate specialist is responsible for managing all phases of the real estate and site acquisition process while ensuring strict compliance with telecommunications regulations, including zoning, environmental, and permitting laws. The role involves project management, vendor and stakeholder coordination, and ensuring that real estate development projects meet regulatory requirements for sites such as cell towers or fiber infrastructure. Key duties include preparing and filing regulatory documents, managing land use approvals, and resolving issues to keep projects on schedule.

Required Skills & Experience

-5+ years as a regulatory real estate specialist in the telecom space
-Experience ensuring all real estate activities, including site acquisition, leasing, and construction, comply with federal, state, and local regulations, such as NEPA, SHPO, FAA, and FCC requirements
-Experience managing the entire real estate project lifecycle from initial site acquisition through to construction handoff, tracking progress, and maintaining project timelines
-Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various real estate agreements like purchase contracts, easements, leases, and permits
-Familiarity with telecommunications regulations (zoning, permitting, environmental laws), real estate principles, and contract terms

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Any previous verizon experience
Any experience working with Fuze for project tracking
