Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Director of Finance & Accounting to work onsite in Bedminster, NJ for a client in the government services space. This candidate would lead the company's financial operations and help grow their federal government contracting business. They would be responsible for the finance and accounting functions for the organization, including payroll and benefits administration, forecasting, and budgeting, cash management, financial reporting, tax and audit support, investment planning and analysis, and maintaining effective controls to ensure compliance with applicable legal, GAAP and DCAA accounting regulations and standards. In addition, they will oversee the outsourced accounting services provider tasked with handling accounts receivables, payables, reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger. They will also create the plan and strategy to execute a CRM and ERP system across the organization. This candidate should be eager to contribute to the growth of the company, be up to date on accounting technology and ERP tools and be able to build strong relationships.

Required Skills & Experience

15+ years of finance and accounting experience

10+ years of experience in a federal government contracting environment, ideally a defense background

Experience implementing cloud-based ERP/CRM software such as Unanet to streamline cross-functional reporting

Demonstrated ability to support the development of successful cost proposals in response to federal government solicitations.

Ability to maintain relationships with external accounting partners

Knowledge of internal systems and financial controls

Bachelor's degree and CPA

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with defense contracting guidelines including DCAA, DCMA, FAR and CAS

Previous work experience with small to mid-size federal contractors
