Understanding of WiFi fundamentals including Radio - frequency bands, channels and DFS
Knowledge of standards (802.11 - legacy to current versions)
Ability to troubleshoot WiFi issues - understanding KPIs associated with observed issues and probable causes leading to it
Understanding of network monitoring tools - analyzing log files and interpreting situations with given KPIs
Basics of the hardware - router, access points, switches, core network equipment (specifically Wireless)
Basics of Router platforms - CRSP, PRPL or any other equivalent
Communication - ability to explain information in technical terms
Problem Solving - identifying issues and relevant solutions
Analytics/Analytical thinking - ability to interpret given data
Understanding of key protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, DNS and other relevant ones
Network security and encryption - understanding of WPA3/2, encryption and firewall
Cloud computing - collecting and interpreting data centrally
