Insight Global is seeking detail-oriented and technically skilled HRIS Configuration Analyst to support one of our large Telecommunications clients in Basking Ridge, NJ. The Configuration Analyst will support configuration within the talent management function of the Workday platform. This role will focus heavily on the configuration, optimization, and maintenance of Workday business processes. The ideal candidate will serve as a critical resource for designing, testing, and deploying workflow improvements, and ensuring Workday processes align with evolving business needs and HR strategies.
Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday business processes across Talent Management modules (Talent Review, Performance Management, Learning, Succession Planning, etc.)
Collaborate with HR functional teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient Workday configurations
Work cross-functionally with IT and HR to ensure data integrity and operational continuity during configurations
Create functional documentation, configuration guides, and training materials as needed
Support reporting and analytics related to talent processes using Workday tools
Stay current on Workday releases and best practices to proactively recommend improvements

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or related field
5+ years of Workday configuration experience, specifically within Talent Management modules
Proven expertise in business process improvement and workflow configuration in Workday
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively across teams
