Insight Global is looking for a Design System BA to support a Design System team within a Customer Experience Organization. On a day to day basis this candidate will work within a defined and systematized design system specific to the client. Candidates will be the liason between the design system team and the business and consumer stakeholders to teach and facilitate ways to best leverage the system in their workflow and context. Candidates need to be able to understand business needs and then connect the dots on how the Design System will be able to appropriately institue the business needs and make strong suggestions on if the needs match the growth of the design system. Candidates will have a period of time to ramp up and understand the propriatary design system, but should come into the environment understanding how a design system works, style guides, and different components fit into the overall engineering of the system. It will be important that candidates are comfortable taking initiative, building relationships cross functionally and understand business and technical jargon to communicate effectively. They will need to understand experiential touchpoints, how requirements flow into the system and be able to make suggestions based on stakeholder needs to improve requirements.
3+ years of experience working in a design system
Experience as a Business Analyst, Design System Ambassador, Design System Specialist or Systems Engineer
Understands front end components of engineering
Strong experience working cross functionally with business stakeholders and driving business conversations
Knowledge of the end to end process of a design system, style guides, design patterns and components
Hands on experience with Figma and Google Suite to build presentation decks
Great communication skills and takes initiative to start conversations
Experience working as a design system ambassador to advocate and increase impact of a design system
