IG's client is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented full-time Legal Assistant to join our Estate Planning practice group in the Manchester, NH office. The ideal candidate is a professional with a desire to further their career in the legal field and must demonstrate the ability to work as a member in a fast-paced team environment, in addition to working independently. They should be able to quickly adapt to new circumstances and juggle multiple tasks at once.
D2D:
· Contacting potential new clients
· Scheduling appointments and meetings for Attorneys, as needed, and otherwise manage Attorney calendars
· Conducting conflict checks
· Assisting with opening and closing of files
· Assisting with managing case database and status tracker
· Assisting with finalizing original Estate Planning binders for clients
· Drafting correspondence to clients, interested parties, and the Court
· Preparing files for Attorney meetings
· Assisting with client invoices and billing
· Managing prior client requests for estate planning documents or files
· Receiving, scanning, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail correspondence
