Job Description

## Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Construction QA/QC Manager to support a large‑scale industrial EPC program focused on advanced manufacturing facilities. This individual will serve as the owner’s quality representative, ensuring all construction activities — whether self‑performed or subcontracted — meet design intent, specifications, and applicable codes. The role partners closely with engineering, construction, procurement, and project controls teams and plays a critical role from early design reviews through final system turnover. This is a highly visible position with real influence over quality outcomes on complex, fast‑moving projects.

## Day‑to‑Day

- Act as the owner’s QA/QC representative for all construction activities
- Review engineering drawings during design to identify quality requirements, constructability risks, and inspection hold points
- Develop and manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
- Contract, schedule, and manage 3–4 third‑party inspection agencies (10–15 inspectors total)
- Oversee 1 internal QA/QC technician
- Perform site walks, identify non‑conformances, and track corrective actions
- Review and audit QC turnover documentation (MTRs, weld logs, NDT reports, concrete records, etc.)
- Track and report quality metrics and trends to project leadership
- Spend ~75% in office / 25% in the field
