Job Description
This role requires strong drafting and 3D modeling skills, ideally with AutoCAD experience. Within a year, the hire should be capable of mentoring and leading peers, pushing projects forward through proactive communication, ownership, and problem solving. Candidates must bring real, practical project experience—preferably in construction or steel—and be able to interpret drawings, think critically, and visualize how components fit together in 3D. Success in this role depends more on leadership, collaboration, and hands on project involvement than on academic or theoretical knowledge.

Required Skills & Experience
• 2+ years of experience working within Autocad.
• Detail oriented and critical thinking ability
• Ability to lead and mentor.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Structural or joist specific detailing experience
• Civil or mechanical engineering degree.
• Experience working with Revit or Tekla
• Project management experience
