Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Traveling Superintendent to join one of their federal contracting clients at different locations across the nation. All projects require strong healthcare construction experience as they will be supporting several contracts that could be hospitals, pharmacies, clinics, etc. The Superintendent will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliance execution of construction projects under federal contracts and will adhere to project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements while coordinating all on-site activities. This is a fully onsite opportunity supporting different projects.

Day to day responsibilities
•Manage daily on-site construction activities to ensure safe, compliant, and timely execution of federal healthcare projects
•Oversee renovations and construction for hospitals, clinics, and medical facilities under federal contracts
•Enforce site safety standards (EM 385-1-1, OSHA) and conduct daily safety briefings and inspections
•Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and field crews, ensuring quality and schedule adherence
•Serve as the primary on-site contact for project teams, inspectors, and subcontractors
•Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals to ensure work aligns with contract documents
•Track daily progress, resolve field issues, and document work through daily reports
•Coordinate inspections, manage punch lists, and support project closeout activities
•Comply with base access, security protocols, and travel requirements

Required Skills & Experience

•5+ recent years’ healthcare construction experience - pharmacies, intensive care units, hospitals, or labs
•Recent superintendent experience
•Federal Construction experience - USACE, DoD, or NAVFAC
•ASHE Certification
•EM 385-1-1 Certification
•USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) Certification
•Ability to travel to other task orders after this task order is complete (Guam, Hawaii, etc.)
