Insight Global is assisting a large Boxing equipment client of ours in identifying a Retail Operations Manager for their LAs Vegas retail and warehouse location. This person should be a highly organized and proactive Operations Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can keep their day-to-day operations running smoothly.
Customer Service & Sales Support
Ensure daily store operations run smoothly by coordinating with the Customer Service team.
Oversee Shopify operations:
o Spot-check transactions for fraud.
o Monitor in-transit orders to ensure timely fulfillment.
o Verify insurance coverage for applicable shipments.
Support with store opening and closing procedures as needed.
Develop and enforce operational checklists to maintain consistency across all shifts.
Operations, Purchasing & Logistics
Manage inventory of office and packaging supplies; place replenishment orders as needed.
Organize and oversee routine physical inventory counts and stock reconciliations.
Provide warehouse support during peak periods (e.g., order picking, packing).
Manage schedules for the customer service, sales, and warehouse teams.
Coordinate with Head Office on purchase orders for both large and small needs (Amazon, Uline, fight gloves, etc.).
Oversee freight carriers, negotiate rates, and verify invoice accuracy.
Support glove distribution logistics for commissions and professional boxing promoters.
Human Resources & Team Management
Lead onboarding, training, and performance development of new hires.
Collaborate with Head Office on upcoming holiday plans, promotions, and schedule adjustments.
Conduct annual performance reviews for customer service and warehouse staff.
Provide day-to-day leadership, mentorship, and motivation to operational teams.
Ensure payroll accuracy and support benefits discussions with staff and providers.
Participate in hiring and interviewing processes as needed.
General Operations & Administration
Manage daily banking tasks including deposits, change, and reconciliation.
Oversee facility maintenance: HVAC, utilities, locksmiths, door/window repairs, and janitorial needs.
Troubleshoot IT issues (Shopify, Lightspeed, printers, password resets, etc.).
Ensure compliance with the building lease; work with the landlord on repairs, insurance, and lease terms.
Manage insurance coverage across operationsevaluate needs and negotiate policies with agents.
Represent Rival in coordination with USA Boxing, commissions, promoters, and special boxing events.
Assist with occasional store runs for cleaning and office supplies (Sams Club, Costco, etc.).

5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or retail management.
Proven leadership and people management skills.
Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
Experience with Shopify, Lightspeed, and IT troubleshooting.
Comfortable with vendor management, purchasing, and inventory control.
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong asset.
