The role of the Accounts Payable Specialist involves providing financial, administrative and clerical support to the organization through the delivery of invoice processing, & supplier payments and reconciliation. The role is critical in ensuring that the day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities are completed in a timely, efficient and well controlled manner across the business as well as various ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.
Timely accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments. Vendor setup and maintenance
Preparing accounts payable payments for approval. Preparing payment bank runs
Reconciliation of vendor statements, including follow up until discrepancies are resolved
Liaising with internal stakeholders and external supplier queries and the timely resolution any outstanding issues Card administration and management of expense posting
Preparing regular cash flow reports Concur system admin support Month End Close
Document and maintain process documentation and work instructions. Continuing to improve Accounts Payable processes
