Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Simulation Lab Operations Specialist ensures operational continuity, equipment lifecycle governance, scheduling integrity, safety compliance, and standardized simulation delivery across academic programs. The position supports high- and low-fidelity simulation infrastructure and aligns campus operations with enterprise governance under the client's simulation.

Required Skills & Experience

1. Oversees operational readiness of simulation laboratories, ensuring all technology and equipment are prepared, functional, and compliant prior to scheduled activities.
2. Manages simulator programming, calibration, troubleshooting, and technical execution during simulation events.
3. Maintains equipment lifecycle governance, including preventive maintenance tracking, repair coordination, and asset documentation.
4. Oversees simulation inventory systems, supply utilization, and clinical consumable monitoring.
5. Coordinates simulation scheduling workflows in collaboration with academic programs to ensure standardized operational processes.
6. Supports data tracking and documentation required for accreditation compliance (e.g., CCNE, AAMC, SSH standards).
7. Ensures adherence to safety protocols and operational risk mitigation practices within simulation environments.
8. Collaborates with Simulation leadership to standardize operational procedures across campuses.
9. Assists with technology integration initiatives related to simulation capture systems, immersive platforms, and enterprise simulation tools.
10. Maintains accurate records of simulation utilization, equipment status, and operational metrics.
11. Provides technical support to faculty during simulation delivery.
12. Supports enterprise simulation initiatives as part of centralized governance strategy.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Two (2) to four (4) years of experience working with simulation-based learning environment.
