Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to work within a closed-door specialty infusion pharmacy (pharmacy & infusion site) supporting both clinical and operational workflows. This site supports complex specialty therapies across multiple disease states, so the pharmacist plays a key role in both clinical oversight and operational execution.
• Review, interpret, and verify prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and appropriateness
• Evaluate patient records to ensure therapy aligns with diagnosis and treatment plan
• Monitor drug therapies and recommend interventions when needed
• Identify drug interactions, duplications, and contraindications
• Provide patient counseling and education on specialty medications
• Support pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Oversee pharmacy technician workflow and documentation
• Collaborate cross-functionally with: Nursing, Intake/Referral teams, Reimbursement/Insurance, and Pharmacy Operations

• Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC)
• 3 Clinical Pharmacists
• 1 Production Pharmacist
• 3 Compounding Techs
• 2 Fulfillment Techs
• 1 Purchaser
• 2 Dispensing Techs (adding a 3rd)
• 1 Weekend Tech (cross-trained)

Required Skills & Experience
• Active NV & TX Pharmacist licenses
• Familiarity with USP 797 guidelines & CSPs (sterile compounding)
• Experience in specialty pharmacy or infusion environment
• Knowledge of specialty medication dosing, frequency, and administration
• Knowledge of requirements prior to dispensing (labs, authorizations, monitoring, etc.)
• Comfortable working onsite Monday–Friday
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Active CA Pharmacist license
• Knowledge of specialty therapy payer requirements and reimbursement/insurance processes
• Certification in Good Clinical Practices (GCP)
• Experience with CareTend or similar pharmacy systems
