Job Description

The Project Controls Analyst will be responsible for the logging and distribution of all relevant project controls documents to the Project team. This position is pivotal in ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and effectively, working closely with engineers, customers, and resource allocation teams. The role will also supervise and direct planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities of the project through the application of diversified controls, systems, principles, and practices.

The position will also be responsible for leading a team of Data Scientist. Responsibilities include hosting team meetings, conducting continuous improvement activities through training, 1:1s, and individual performance reviews. The role will also be accountable to manage team performance; production and quality and ensuring acceptance criteria are established and met. This position has a starting pay of 35/hr.

Preparation of proposal schedules with input from estimating, procurement and bid documents
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed
Produce and maintain EVM and quantity-based progress curves
Develop and maintain project schedules and reports (Weekly and Monthly)
Collaborate with the operations group to develop recovery scenarios as required
Support project management teams with implementation of change orders for delays in the schedule and associated costs
Lead and coordinate activities with engineering, customers, and resource allocation for power delivery projects
Prepare quarterly project forecasts based on knowledge of the ongoing construction and input from other members of the project team;
Assist in the preparation and negotiation of cost for additional project work including tracking T&M work;
Maintain, monitor, and track project budgets, including forecasting and recommending adjustments to the project budget; This includes coding and/or reviewing the coding of timesheets, invoices, etc. for accuracy;
Prepare and/or review monthly billings to Owner.
Develop quality control measures and programs
Provide support to team with data analysis, flow charts, job aides when necessary

Required Skills & Experience

Proficient with Microsoft Office
Experienced in working with Excel formulas and pivot functions to maintain and analyze data tables
Detail oriented and strong analytical skills
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Works well independently but able to develop collaborative relationships

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Minimum 5 years of related experience in project control or a similar field
Knowledge of the Franchise Manual, Distribution Bulletins, and Engineering Handbook/Specifications
2-3 years experience with Power Delivery design and construction processes is required
