Location: Omaha, NE (Onsite)
Duration: 60–90 Day Contract
Pay: $24–$26/hr

Position Overview
Cohere Beauty is seeking a detail-oriented Production Specifications Coordinator to support the development, maintenance, and finalization of production specifications for finished goods. This individual plays a critical role in ensuring that all manufacturing documentation is accurate, complete, and approved before production begins.
This position works cross-functionally with Product Development, Change Control, Packaging, and Manufacturing teams to manage all product-related documentation throughout the lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and finalize production specifications for finished goods
Compile and verify:

Formulations
Packaging components
Labels and artwork
Assembly instructions
Shipping requirements


Ensure all specs are complete and approved prior to manufacturing
Review BOMs, labels, and packaging documentation for accuracy
Support change control updates and maintain version history
Collaborate across multiple teams to gather and validate data
Support product launches by aligning documentation with timelines
Identify and resolve discrepancies before production
Maintain documentation systems and databases
Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience in:

Product specifications
Manufacturing documentation
Product development support


Experience with:

BOMs
Packaging specs
Labeling documentation


Strong attention to detail and organization
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in CPG, beauty, personal care, or manufacturing
Exposure to change control processes
Experience with product commercialization or new product launches
Familiarity with PLM, ERP, or document management systems
Understanding of manufacturing workflows

Specifications are accurate and completed on time
Documentation is finalized before production begins
Product and packaging data remain consistent and current
Changes are properly tracked and implemented
Teams have reliable documentation to execute production effectively
