A Fortune 250 oil & gas client is looking for an Mechanical Engineer and a Mechanical Designer at any level to join an engineering team in Omaha, NE. The team is in charge of pipelines and this individual will be assisting with the engineering and design pieces and will rotate through multiple projects. They will work daily to put together design drawings, material and address construction questions. It will be helpful for them to be familiar with working in previous industries involving large equipment. This specific group takes on the larger, more difficult projects for the company focusing on projects involving mechanical compressor stations, which is highly technical and crosses multiple phases. Once the projects are fully commissioned, they will be passed off to another team. This individual is expected to be confident, self-motivated and naturally driven, and a hard worker.
-2-3 years of working experience can include intern experience or relevant experience during school.
-Experience working with AutoCAD 3D & knowledge of CAD controls
-Mechanical Design background or Piping Design Background
-Previous experience at a process plant, power plant, refinery, or experience working with mechanical equipment
-Prior utility experience
