Job Description

This company is a progressive and growing global organization that offers challenging and rewarding opportunities in a variety of markets where power in motion is required. We are seeking a high energy, persuasive, polished, business development professional to grow and manage accounts in the Container Handling and Mining/Bulk Material Handling markets in the Americas region. This organization is known as an industry leader in the mobile electrification market, that not only manufactures high quality products in the conductor bar, festoon, slip rings, industrial cable, cord and hose reel lines, but provides "service after the sale" that drives our niche in the market. The Business DevelopmentSpecialistwill help the Market Development Manager(s) interact and provide direction and support to SMO USA, SMO Canada, SMO Mexico, SMO Brazil, and Latin America Sales Group. This rolewill work to strategically monitor and evaluate their respective market/sub-segments, develop strong relationships with key customers, and expand the market share through effective sales and marketing management. The Business DevelopmentSpecialistwill attract interest and increase sales for products and services from new or existing customers through a variety of sales channels.
Salary: 75-90k

Required Skills & Experience

· · BS or BA in engineering, sales, marketing, or business
· 5+ years of experience developing sales, account management, project management and market development support.
CANT be job hoppy (each role 3+ years)
· In depth sales/account management experience within these markets:
Electrification/heavy machines/Crain service/mining/Container ports/Engineered product sales/project solutions
· Be a strategic thinker and have a track record of growing sales within markets/client interfacing.
· Effective fluency in spoken & written Spanish.
· Willingness to travel up to 40+%. (trade shows, industry conferences, Bulk/mining show/container handling show)
Passport and TWIC card (transportation worker identification credential)
Comfortable with Heights (tall cranes) and below grade/depth (mining)
Travel could be uncommon (jungle or mountains)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Understanding of electrification products.
· Background or stint at a company within product
Bulk in mining/Container handling/local and global terminals
Experience working at Port Operating Company Ex: "APM terminals "
Background in Crain industrial/Industrial Industry
