Job Description

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, including account maintenance and reconciliation activities. The role includes responsibility for follow-up with agents, business partners and direct insureds on questions involving specific billings and payments to facilitate accurate cashflow. Performance must be maintained as prescribed in Performance Goals outlined by Accounts Receivable team Supervisor or Manager within the Specialty Division.

This is a metrics-driven role and employee productivity is measured by tasks completed as well as accuracy.

All responsibilities require strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within deadlines.

This position is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Tuesdays are mandatory in office and the employee may choose the other days they come in. The typical working hours are 8:00am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5:00pm.

All training will be performed via Teams, as this team is located in multiple offices in two time zones.

Required Skills & Experience

- Digital literacy in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work within deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively. Team size: 10-11, 3 individuals in person.
- Experience in an office setting.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Previous experience in an accounts receivable role
- Experience working with insurance agents and brokers or other external relationships
- Finance or accounting related degree
