Job Description

PR: 30-35/hr based on experience
Hours: Start at 6:00 AM, 12–13 hour shifts
References required to interview

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Geosynthetic Technician for one of our Engineering Consulting clients. Day to day includes:
• Coordinate and delegate CQA monitoring tasks to subordinate Technicians
• Observe the performance of Technicians and relay feedback upon project completion
• Perform geotechnical field and lab testing, collect samples (soil, water, air)
• Oversee CQA procedures, and prepare daily reports.
• Must follow construction plans and work closely with project teams. Strong work ethic and reliability are essential.

• Laptop

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in construction oversight
• Soil and materials testing experience
• Geosynthetic/QCA Synthetic experience
• High School Diploma
• ACI Certification
• OSHA 10
• US Driver's License

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Coal Combustion Residue (CCR) experience
•Additional certifications in construction or geotechnical testing
• Experience with coal ash projects
