Insight Global is assisting a client in identifying a compassionate, experienced, and strategic System Manager of Case Management to join our collaborative team at a regional medical center. This role is responsible for overseeing case management operations, including utilization review and discharge planning, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical expertise, leadership experience, and a passion for patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and oversight for case management, discharge planning, and utilization review functions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care and safe transitions across the continuum.
Support the Director in strategic planning, policy development, and performance improvement initiatives.
Supervise and mentor case management staff, setting clear expectations and addressing performance issues consistently.
Monitor departmental compliance with DNV, CMS, and other regulatory requirements.
Utilize data and reporting tools (e.g., Epic) to assess and improve departmental performance.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

Masters degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, MBA, or related field
Certification in Case Management (e.g., CCM)
Background as a nurse or social worker with a long-standing commitment to patient advocacy
Experience working with diverse patient populations
