Insight Global is assisting a client in identifying a Director of Infrastructure for a growing healthcare system in Bozeman, MT. This director will be responsible for overseeing and managing the IT infrastructure and operations of the organization. Responsibilities include managing technology systems, networks, servers, storage, and software. The director will effectively manage daily operations of IT and PACS departments, including data center operations, technical services, desktop engineering, network operations, and help desk support. The role involves directing and approving the design of security systems and ensuring that disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and tested. The director will review investigations after breaches or incidents, conduct impact analyses, and provide recommendations to prevent future incidents. They will maintain a current understanding of threats, translate that knowledge into identifying risks, and produce actionable plans to protect the business. The director will update the cybersecurity strategy and keep management informed on status and risks. Collaborating closely with the Chief Information Officer and other IT leadership, the Director will execute the technology roadmap in alignment with the overall strategic plan. This role requires hands-on involvement with staff in a collaborative, high-energy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct broad operations to ensure comprehensive departmental services in compliance with all regulatory agencies and healthcare system requirements.
Ensure a collaborative departmental approach to long-range strategic operational planning, care and service design, and development of organizational policies that reflect the mission of the organization.
Establish working relationships with other department directors and senior leaders, collaborating on new technology needs or expanded uses for existing technology to increase functionality, efficiency, and staff satisfaction.
Develop and execute IT security strategies that enhance and bolster the reliability and security of the IT infrastructure, systems, and projects.
Provide general supervision of the IT department or assigned functions; ensure the performance of direct report personnel, services, and/or technology; conduct employee annual performance evaluations and staff supervision.

Bachelors degree in information technology or 15 years of relevant experience
IT Healthcare leadership background
10 years of related experience, with the majority in an IT leadership role
Experience managing 30+ employees across various infrastructure teams
Certification in one or more of the following: ITIL, Project Management, Process Improvement Methods, Hardware, and Software Asset Management
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
