Job Description
Insight Global is looking to hire a Dimensional Engineer for a large client in Missouri. This is a production environment and you will be working on the plant floor. This individual will be utilizing the GD&T system. A large majority the time spent will be inspecting dimensions, tolerances, and part quality. This role is onsite 6 days a week and will be rotating shift.
- Dimensional engineers use data from customer feedback, internal quality checks (like GCA & A/B/C/FVS), and other sources to identify areas for improvement.
- They collaborate with production, maintenance, suppliers, and other stakeholders to address dimensional issues and implement solutions.
- They support and implement quality standards, including BIQ IV, the 6 Pillars of Quality, and process control plans.
They use systems like GDIS and Dimensional Data Manager to analyze dimensional data and track trends.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 3 years experience working with gross dimensional tolerance
- 3D modeling experience
- Experience with CMMs, Scantool, Perceptrol, or Scan box
- Mechanically inclined
Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Knowledge of GCA Score (Global Customer Audits
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
A “wrenching” personal background, someone who actively workings on machines, engines, cars, etc in their free time
